Abstract

Realistic simulation (RS) is a strong tool to aid current education, playing an important role in actions called active methodologies. The knowledge of future doctors in their practices – improved through RS – contributes to reducing errors and increasing safety in their daily work, without harm to the patient, expanding the fields of experience and skill, and improving professional performance. Imaging, especially ultrasound, which began in the final years of medical school, is also more involved than ever in training qualified professionals in this specialty. The objective of this work is to collect articles to understand what has been done scientifically, what are the variables and effectiveness of RS in teaching/learning obstetric ultrasound at the undergraduate level, a growing area of activity in medicine and an extremely important tool in the well-being of patients. mother-child binomial.
